DCU Center       Worcester, MA.       September 3, 2016

Rock N Roll icons KISS invaded Worcester, MA, this past weekend and totally blew the roof off the DCU Center.  I have been to many shows, and there is no show, like a KISS show! Between the pyrotechnics, Gene flying up to the rafters during God of Thunder, or Paul flying above the crowd during “Love Gun”  on a zip line the soundboard stage to give attention to the crowd in the back of the arena, KISS makes you feel like you’re a part of the show.

Fans young and seasoned started arriving early to show off their face paint, costumes and such.  Parents and their children all got into the act of showing off who their favorite band member is.  It is very refreshing to see a concert being attended by families.

The night is jammed packed with Gene fire breathing during “War Machine”, Eric Singer coming from behind the drum kit to sing “Beth”, and Tommy Thayer’s guitar solo.

At recent shows KISS has brought out a color guard from the area, to honor Veterans and make a sizable donation. In the past they have either donated a $1 off every ticket sold, to hiring one to be a roadie for the day. At the end of honoring the Veterans,  they asked that everyone in attendance participate in saying the Pledge of Allegiance.

The capacity crowd stayed to the end and was belting out “Rock and Roll All Nite” along with the band as confetti cannons turned the arena into a snow globe.

The Freedom To Rock tour is not a tour to be missed.
