Hard to believe that Cincinnati will never see Motley Crue on an upcoming concert schedule. again. What a night it was. The Cringe an independent rock band out of New York opened the night led by front man John Cusimano better known as the husband of TV cooking show host Rachael Ray. They were a really solid band that gave their all for 30 minutes.
Now most band would have another opener, not Motley Crue. They bring a legendary Rockstar that these guys looked up to to mold them into what they are. They brought the one and only Alice Cooper. This icon has been performing for more than 50 years. Alice still has it after 5 decades with a killer band led by female shredder Nita Strauss. Alice hit all the classic's with his horror themed stage. Not many bands could pull off having Alice Cooper play in front of you. That's exactly what the Crue did.
The bad boys of Rock N' Roll were up next. Wow, these guys did not hold back. The fans got to hear the same classic setlist that they are using for the tour which covers the entire catalog of the band. If it was a hit, the guys covered it. Probably the hardest working man of the night was Cincinnati's Fire Marshal because Motley Crue blew the roof off U.S. Bank Arena. I haven't even mentioned that Tommy Lee brought the Roller Coaster drum show with him. I'm not going into detail for anyone who will have the pleasure to catch the remaining shows leading up to the final show on December 31st.
All and all the fans got what they wanted, a huge production show, great support bands, and one last show with The Crue! It doesn't get any better than that!
