The NorVa                                       Norfolk, VA.  January 11, 2017

You had to have it all!

Well, have you had enough?

You greedy little bastard!

You will get what you deserve!

And we sure did get what we deserved!!! Breaking Benjamin ROCKED a packed SOLD OUT NorVA on Wednesday, Jan 11th 2017.

Opening the night was Detroit rock band Wilson. The 5-piece hard rock band consists of Chad Nicefield (Vocals), Jason Spencer (Lead Guitar), Kyle Landry (Rhythm Guitar), Matt Puhy (Drums), James Lascu (Bass). I had never heard of them before but they killed it!! Their high-energy performance was absolutely incredible! In their 45-minute set they enthusiastically played hits such as “Right to Rise”, “Give’em Hell” and “Before I Burn”.

The crowd was ready for a good time as the lights blacked out and a deafening roar arose from the sea of people…BREAKING BENJAMIN has hit the stage!

Breaking Benjamin is a rock band from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania fronted by Benjamin Burnley. Breaking Benjamin is back from a five-year hiatus. Burnley is the only remaining member of the original band. The band reformed in 2014 with new members, Aaron Bruch as bassist, Keith Wallen on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Jasen Rauch as lead guitarist, and drummer, Shaun Foist.

Breaking Benjamin took the stage and opened with the 2004 hit “So Cold” from the We Are Not Alone album. We were treated to 15 songs including a few covers including “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and fan favorite hits such as “Blow Me Away”, “Sooner Or Later”, “I Will Not Bow”, and my favorite “Until The End”.

Breaking Benjamin put on a strong and memorable performance, they even engaged with the crowd and sang Happy Birthday to Nick Thieme Breaking Benjamin's Backline Tech as they presented  him with a cake on stage.

The show was everything I expected and more. The atmosphere was fabulous, the sound was perfect - I was absolutely blown away! If you even slightly like Breaking Benjamin, you HAVE to see them live & you'll definitely want to see them again! This was the second time I saw them and it was awesome!! Hope they come back soon!
